The Lite Back system, on the other hand, is designed for parents looking for a compact and lightweight baby carrier. The back system weighs less than 2500 grams, yet it's still designed to comfortably carry light to moderate loads. The direct connection between the back system and the frame, and the wraparound hip fins, result in even weight distribution between the shoulders and hips. For total loads of up to 22 kg, the Kid Comfort Active baby carrier uses Deuter's Lite Back system and is also available in the Slim Line (SL) model for women or adults with a slimmer, shorter build.
